This is a pure hand-crafted Indian ribbon trimming made in a traditional “aari” stitch style (a looped stitch usually using thicker yarn type thread), with no consistency, but has the traditional Hand look feel and look about the whole thing. Beautifully crafted. Used as Borders on Ladies’ Long Petticoats and on Border so Sari Wrap around worn on Plain Petticoats or ‘Gagras’.
The mirror work is Plastic so completely safe (its not glass). The Aztec trim is a beautiful inclusion as part of the 14 Styles Trimmings and Edgings Indian trim box.
