100% NATURAL Jute Hessian Cloth with a LAMINATED Coating to Prevent Moisture seeping through.

Traditional Jute has loosely woven fibres and this of course would let water through; the lamination coating of a semi-clear plastic film prevents water seepage. It’s NOT a permanent waterproof solution, but great for heavy-duty crafts which need protection from moisture, for Large coverings on stalls.

It’s a protective fabric from moisture for short periods. See notes below on Moisture permeability before buying.

The fabric is similar to the Jute Shopping bags which have inner laminated Coating, that can be bought at supermarkets. It prevents moisture from temporarily seeping through, and gives greater weight and strength to the fabric.

• The coating creates a barrier between the loose weave fabric and the contents it protects from getting wet.
• It’s suitable for making Bags and to cover exhibits etc in open space.
• NOT FOR PROLONGED PERIODS in a wet environment.
• The limitation will only prevent water seeping through temporarily and for short periods at a time.
• It’s NOT A PERMANENT WATERPROOF solution.
• Cannot be used for protection of constant rain or permeant outdoor use!
