These are Welt Ribs knitted in two sizes: Both components would make up a full set to trim a Sweatshirt Style Sweater for Neck, Cuff and Waistband. The ribs are supplied to size specification below and they are used by cut and sew method.

If you are a creative dressmaker or someone who enjoys making clothing and crafts, you will of course utilise the ribs in any way you see fit for many different purposes.

A Deeper Rib for Cuffs and Waistbands

A Slightly Narrower Rib for Neckbands

We do not recommend how many quantity of strips you will need as the usage varies drastically for individual needs and sizes; but 1 Waistband strip is enough for a standard waistband with little leftover to make 1 cuff or a pair of cuffs and 1 neckband rib is enough to trim two neckbands usually, based on a medium size adult sweatshirt – but this is a very general idea and not to be taken as a rule! You need to decide what you will need for your use.

Made from UPCYCLED YARNS, Roughly 40% Cotton + 60% Acryl/Poly/Nylon

Composition is 30% Pure Cotton, 70% Upcycled Fibres
(its roughly 50% Cotton / 50% Poly+ Nylon overall as the Upcycled fibres also have cotton )
